M1917 tunic for a corporal of the 37th Infantry Division.<\/p>\n
Provided on the left sleeve with the Division emblem (“Buckeye”) a red overseas stripe and a gold chevron for 6 months overseas service.<\/p>\n
On the right sleeve the double chevrons indicating that he is a corporal and a gold chevron indicating that he was once wounded or gassed.<\/p>\n
US collardisc and on the other side an Infantry collardisc.<\/p>\n

The tunic is in good condition with 1 visible moth hole on the back, see photo.<\/p>\n
The label on the inside is clearly legible and dated 1918, see photo.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
The 37th was active in the war from 1918 and fought hard in France at the Meuse-Argonne sector and in Belgium at the Ypres-Leie offensive.<\/p>\n
