Patriotic, hand-embroidered card game mat.

Thick green felt (pressed wool fiber) with images of the German (tricolor) flag, the Austrian flag, and the Turkish flag.

In one corner, a beautiful German eagle with the Imperial Crown, above which is the text “Brussels 1914-15”.

Perhaps originally made for an officer’s casino.

Dimensions approximately 50 x 50 cm!

Probably unique piece.
