Ersatz Pickelhaube for Prussian enlisted men.

Made of felt (pressed wool fiber).

The helmet is in good shape but has had a hard life with necessary repairs; see photos.

The helmet also has two small holes and the eagle is slightly dented; see photos.

However, the helmet is fitted with a rare cloth fabric chin strap which was also damaged and has been lightly repaired.

The leather lining is almost entirely present.
