M71-95 Pickelhaube for Hessian enlisted men.

Beautiful helmet, so called Kammerstück, with a remarkable history. It began as an M71 and was later re-issued as an M95 with a leather chin strap.

It is only missing the two “domed brads” on the rear spine, see photo.

The helmet has various regimental stamps indicating where it was once used: TB18 (Train Battalion 18), TB25 (Train Battalion 25), IR116 (Infanterie-Regiment Kaiser Wilhelm -2.Großherzogliches Hessisches- Nr. 116).

Complete with innerliner.
