M98/05 bayonet n.A. 1918.

The bayonet is in reasonably good condition.

The blade is dated (19)18 and has a production stamp.

The manufacturer is also marked: F.W. Höller, Solingen.

The scabbard is in reasonable condition but has been repainted black.

The leather backing is sturdy but has a tear at the front and back, see photo.

Bayonets of this type with a production stamp from the last year of the war, 1918, are rare!
