M98/05 n.A. Sawback bayonet 1917.

The bayonet is in very good condition.

The blade is dated (19)17 and has a military acceptance stamp.

It is extensively marked with inspection stamps and numbers; see photos.

Also marked with the manufacturer: Weyersberg Kirschbaum & Cie, Solingen.

The sawback is nice and deep (not worn).

The scabbard is in reasonable condition and has minor pitting; see photos.

Complete with a leather frog with a, unfortunately illegible, Bekleidungsamt stamp on the back.

“Old fashion”beautifull quallity.
